News from Leo Charley and Me HQ
Welcome to our March Newsletter!
We’ve just had a wonderful break in a reactive dog friendly cottage in Norfolk over the last week and although I’ve had time away from the sewing machine I’ve still been busy with the website and writing a new blog.
Leo and Charley have had a wonderful time playing in the sea! It’s really good to get away to the coast at this time of year because it’s so quiet. It has been absolutely perfect for Leo with few people and dogs about so he’s been able to have fun on a deserted beach and we’ve been able to relax knowing that no off lead dog will come over to hassle him. Bliss!
This newsletter is focused on weddings and things to consider if you want to include your dog in your special day.
Having your Dog at Your Wedding
Just before Christmas I was asked to make this wedding set for a special dog who was to be Best Dog and ring bearer at his owners wedding. It was made from green tweed to match the groom’s suit and he looked very smart indeed.
Catering for dogs at weddings is becoming a very popular trend so I’ve written a blog to give some food for thought if you are thinking of having your dog join in with your special day.
We love making bespoke accessories so if you need something unique just drop me a message and I will do my best to make you something wonderful!

Or browse the fabulous accessories made by Hand on Heart Jewellery who can put paw prints of cuff links, and necklaces, so even if it isn’t possible to have your dog at the ceremony on the day you can still have a part of them with you.
Sneaky look behind the scenes.
The Coronation is just around the corner in May so I have been beavering away making these collections ready for the special day.
Here is a sneaky preview of the accessories I will be taking to the Chase Handmade Fair on April 2nd at the Lea Hall Miners Club in Rugeley. Many have already been sent to dog boutiques around the UK but they are available now on my website. Shop early to avoid disappointment.
